Funeral Homes

Aquaternal is revolutionizing the water cremation industry!

Our short 4 hour cycle time in a non-pressurized, hydrolytic system sets a new industry standard for human body disposition using a gentle water-based method that many families are now considering.

Our patented alkaline hydrolysis technology not only saves on time but incorporates energy and water saving features not found in any other system on the market today. Aquaternal’s innovative technology is a reliable, low maintenance, easy to operate turnkey system allowing funeral homes to introduce this environmentally-friendly option to their customers.

Finally the deathcare industry now has a low temperature, non-pressurized system that can gently process human remains in under 4 hours without compromising on the dignity, respect and care for the deceased and their loved ones.

Reduced resource consumption: Aquaternal’s new technology has the lowest cost inputs of any alkaline hydrolysis system on the market today. Built in heat recovery and cooling of the liquid remains captures heat and reuses it in the next process cycle, saving on energy and overall water consumption.

Gentle process: Our patented rotational technology gently rocks the body back and forth like a cradle, providing families with the peace of mind knowing that their loved one is gently being reduced to their natural, basic elements. The decedent’s body can be pre-loaded into our perforated cradle enclosure and then lowered into the hydrolytic chamber or the decedent can simply be positioned within the cradle while its in the chamber. Our automated system allows you to customize the parameters to suit the individual.

Preservation and honoring remains: All of the decedent’s bone remains are retained for returning to the family. These bone remains, once dried, can be processed into finer material that typically contains a higher amount of calcium phosphate, making them more mineral-rich compared to traditional cremation. Some families prefer these fine bone remains for scattering in nature, burial, or for keepsakes. Our company actively supports nature-positive initiatives that have a direct, measurable impact on reducing our carbon footprint while embracing the growing importance for us all to make better Earth-choices in life, and in deathcare.

Expanding options for families: Offering water cremation as an option allows funeral homes to provide a wider range of choices to families. Some individuals may have personal or religious beliefs that align better with a water based option, while others may prioritize environmental sustainability. By offering Aquaternal’s technology, funeral homes can cater to the diverse preferences and needs of their clients and a meaningful contribution to helping reverse climate change.

Increasing popularity: Alkaline hydrolysis is gaining popularity as an alternative to traditional burial and cremation methods. More people are becoming aware of its benefits, leading to increased demand. By offering Aquaternal’s technology, funeral homes can stay relevant and attract environmentally conscious individuals while operating a faster, efficient, non-pressurized system with a 4 hour cycle time.
