gentle, respectful water cremation for pets to Mauritius.

Aquamation (water cremation) is a gentle, respectful Earth-friendly alternative to flame cremation or direct burial of your beloved pet. It allows you to honour the loss of your companion without harming the environment.

It uses a water based alkaline soltion instead of fire. The process is slower and more gentlethan flame cremation because it closely simulates the natural process used by Mother Nature to return a body to its basic elements. At the end of the process pet parents receive their pet’s bone remains in powderized form for memorial services of keepsake storage.

We believe that caring and compassion should extend beyond life.

We are currently conducting market research, learning more about Mauritius’ challenges and cultural traditions and would welcome any feedback that would help us see where Solace branded pet aftercare can come alongside existing animal welfare groups, vets and pet service providers.

We want to better understand what is appropriate, feasible and culturally aligned with Mauritius’ pet community.
